Introduction

Welcome to RestauraAI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of our image restoration platform that uses artificial intelligence, operated by ALRIX SOLUCOES EM TECNOLOGIA LTDA, registered under CNPJ No. 69.405.931/0001-76, headquartered at Rua Célia Pólo Monteiro, 250, Sala 344, Marambaia, Vinhedo, SP, CEP 13287-004, Brazil.

By using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using RestauraAI, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
  • You have read and agree to our Privacy Policy

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use our services.

Service description

RestauraAI is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to restore, enhance, and colorize old or damaged photographs. Our services include:

  • Photo restoration: Removal of damage, scratches, and imperfections
  • Colorization: Adding color to black-and-white photos
  • Quality enhancement: Increased resolution and sharpness
  • Facial correction: Refinement of facial details

Results may vary depending on the quality and condition of the original image. We do not guarantee specific results.

Your account

3.1. Account creation:

  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Each person may create only one account
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential

3.2. Account security:

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Do not share your account or credentials with third parties
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account

3.3. Termination:

  • You may close your account at any time
  • We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms
  • Unused credits are non-refundable after closure

Credits and payments

4.1. Credit system:

  • The service runs on a credit system
  • Each image restoration consumes credits according to the operation
  • 1 free credit is provided at sign-up
  • Additional credits can be purchased through plans or packages

4.2. Payments:

  • Payments are processed by Stripe (card and digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, when available) and, in Brazil, also by Mercado Pago (PIX)
  • In Brazil, prices are shown and charged in Brazilian reais (BRL). Outside Brazil, they are in US dollars (US$), and payment goes through Stripe. The site sets the currency based on the country you're visiting from and, when the payment screen offers the option, you can switch it before paying; a purchase or subscription already made keeps the currency it was made in
  • Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice

4.3. Refunds:

  • Consumed credits are non-refundable
  • Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase
  • Refunds are assessed case by case
  • Fraud or abuse will result in refund denial

Permitted use

You may use RestauraAI to:

  • Restore personal and family photos
  • Enhance images for personal or legitimate commercial use
  • Process images to which you hold the rights
  • Professional use (photographers, designers, etc.) with authorized images

Prohibited use

It is strictly prohibited to use RestauraAI to:

  • Process illegal or offensive images, or images that violate third-party rights
  • Create false, defamatory, or misleading content
  • Process images of minors without guardian authorization
  • Violate copyright or image rights
  • Carry out fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Attempt to bypass system limitations or create multiple accounts
  • Reverse-engineer or extract our algorithms
  • Overload our servers with abusive use

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

Intellectual property

7.1. Your images:

  • You retain all rights to your original images
  • You retain the rights to the restored images
  • You grant us a temporary license solely to process the images

7.2. Our platform:

  • RestauraAI, its brand, design, and code are our property
  • Our algorithms and AI models are the exclusive property of ALRIX
  • Copying, modifying, or distributing our software is prohibited

Limitation of liability

8.1. Service "as is":

RestauraAI is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific expectations.

8.2. Results:

Restoration results depend on the quality of the original image. We do not guarantee specific results or the ability to restore every image.

8.3. Liability cap:

Under no circumstances will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ALRIX, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of third-party rights
  • Content you submit for processing

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or through a notice on our site at least 30 days in advance.

Continued use of the service after the changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

General provisions

11.1. Governing law:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

11.2. Jurisdiction:

The courts of the District (Comarca) of São Paulo/SP are elected to settle any disputes arising from these Terms.

11.3. Entire agreement:

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ALRIX regarding the use of RestauraAI.

11.4. Severability:

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
