What kinds of photos can I restore?
Wedding, family, portraits, graduations, christenings and trips, from any era, 1800 to today. Paper documents such as certificates, letters and deeds have their own tool: document restoration.
Does it work on badly damaged photos?
Yes. The AI treats severe tears, water stains, mold, and heavy fading. Where the image is gone, it fills in from what's left — that's reconstruction, not recovery. The more of the original that survives, the better the result; the free preview shows what to expect.
Can I colorize black-and-white photos?
Yes. Beyond restoring, the AI colorizes black-and-white photos with natural tones that fit the era. It's an interpretation: a black-and-white photo never recorded its true colors.
Which file formats are accepted?
We accept JPG, PNG, HEIC, and WebP. Max size is 25 MB. For best results, we recommend scanning physical photos at 300 DPI or higher.
Do restored photos have a watermark?
The courtesy photo shows the full result with a protective watermark. After any purchase, from US$2.99, every photo in your gallery comes without a watermark, in high resolution, ready to print, share, or frame.
Is my photo stored on the server?
They stay in your account, behind a password, and you can delete them from your dashboard. Under the Privacy Policy, RestauraAI does not use your images to train AI models.
How do refunds work?
